I’d like to initially try to have a monthly meeting, probably beginning in October. Joining the meetup and RSVPing for events when they are posted are the best way for us to gauge how big of a space we will need. Speaking of which, if anyone has a space that we could possibly use for meetings, or would be willing to sponsor acquiring co-working (or similar) space for events, please let me know.
One of the members of the Reason team has graciously offered to speak at a meeting! If you have a talk proposal or event idea for a future meeting please share it. We would happily host visiting speakers if anyone from the community happens to be coming to town. It might also be fun to do more informal hack nights where we can collaborate on open source contributions or work on and share some of our projects.
