Q: BuckleScript is based on a slightly older version of OCaml, 4.02.3. Will it be upgraded to a newer version, and when?
A: There is ongoing work to upgrade BuckleScript to a newer OCaml version, probably 4.06. The timeline is probably several months to a year because it’s a complex undertaking and there’s also a lot of other work being done. If you’d like to help out, the best way is probably to take on some of the easier issues in the BuckleScript repo to let the team focus on the higher-priority ones.
